Winner of 4-5 years; I Want To Fly by Siddharth Shekhar

Posted on 5th December, 2012 | filed under Competition Winners

boy flying

I like the space and I want to fly.

I like to fly,

I like to fly.

I want to fly with the sparrows,

I want to shine like the stars,

I want to smile like the moon,

I want to play with the sun,

I want to float like leaves,

I want to dance like the sea,

I want to jump like Spiderman

I want to paint like a rainbow…………

I want to drive the rocket and up in the sky.

9…8…7…6…5…4…3…2…1. Blast off.

The earth will go round and round and round and

round and then everything will fall down.

I will go to Mars and meet aliens. They are like

Spiderman and Donald Duck.

Some are like Goofy,

And some are like balloons,

Some are like Angry Birds,

And some are like piggy,

Some are like horse,

And some are like me.

I will play with them.

We will all have fun in space…

I will make star bread and eat it.

My mouth will shine and my face will shine.

I will carry the flag of Australia, Canada, Japan,

UK and India and I will put it everywhere.

Then we will come back to our earth and have

fun at home again…

About the author: Ann-Marie McKimm

Ann-Marie McKimm is the person behind Yano. She's first generation British and proud of it. She wasn't a grade A student, but she was never afraid of hard work and let very little defeat her. This stood her in good stead for a 15-year career in the often ruthless recruitment industry. She started my own headhunting company, Certus, at the age of 29 and was the first person in her family to have their own business. She has two children, who have changed everything in her life in a positive way, including her desire to help other families. You can follow Ann-Marie on Twitter @AMMcKimm
